New Promo for S.W.A.T. Magazine TV

Hey Readers!  I have been a bit absent lately… things have been VERY Busy with I.C.E. Training Company and various other projects.  Expect an update tomorrow from the training side… and we’ve got the forum to talk about the (outstanding) upcoming season of The Best Defense!  But, for now, I spent the last week in the edit suite working with the production staff on the first few  S.W.A.T. Magazine TV episodes… and the show is going to be awesome.

SWATLogoSince I last blogged about the show, we have tapped at several different locations from The Rockies, through The Midwest and out to the Mid-Atlantic Region. We have worked with some of the top instructors in the world and taken a close look at how professionals are training and what lessons we could take from that for your personal or home defense preparation.

We also took the opportunity to speak with our guest instructors in a way that you may not have seen before… and got them to comment on some potentially controversial questions. Throughout the season, we’ll be featuring their answers so you can see where they stand on these potentially very important training issues.

Our guest instructors, of course, are the centerpiece of the show. Throughout the season you’ll get to see techniques and training methods from a diverse group, including some guys who’ve been teaching almost as long as I’ve been shooting! Including Yavapai Firearms Acamedy‘s founder Louis Awerbuck, S.W.A.T. Magazine Editor Denny Hansen and Gunsite adjunct Ken Campbell. We also have some representatives from the next generation of instructors including S.P.E.A.R. System Innovator Tony Blauer and Magpul Dynamics‘ Travis Haley & Chris Costa. We’ll also be introducing you to a few instructors that you probably haven’t heard of, but who work hard every day to keep their regional law enforcement and military professionals as prepared as possible.  There will be plenty to learn from our guests and their insight. We even stopped by a Crossfit Gym to learn about functional fitness!

In addition to the action in the training environments, each week Brent Wheat will share practical advice in his Street Smarts segment.

The show premiers on Outdoor Channel on January 6th!

Here’s the latest promo (it makes the old one look a little boring):  1:30 Second Action Sequence

I’m glad to be back on the Blog!
