Leupold® Pro Jessie Duff Takes 
High Lady Title at Area 3 Championship

BEAVERTON, OR. – Leupold & Stevens, Inc. sponsored shooter Jessie Duff showed why she’s one of the world’s best shooters with a win at the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) Area 3 Championship this past weekend.
Shooting in the Open Division, Duff turned in a stellar match performance to claim the High Lady title. Finishing 17th overall out of 259 shooters, Duff’s match point total of 1274.7449 was more than 300 points ahead of the runner-up. Duff won 12 out of the 14 stages.

“I thought Area 3 was a good challenging match, with stages that tested a good variety of shooting skills,” Duff said. “They weren’t so difficult that you couldn’t figure them out, but left it up to the shooters ability, to figure out how to execute them.”

“I’ve been using a Leupold® DeltaPoint® in competition now for three seasons, and have found it to be perfectly suited for these types of matches,” she said.

In the USPSA Open Division, competitors use heavily modified handguns to engage steel and paper targets on a variety of field courses.  Balancing speed and accuracy is crucial to winning.
