Hartford Gun Club Hosts Regional Revolver Championship

WHO: International Confederation of Revolver Enthusiasts (ICORE­) – an organization dedicated to promoting international revolver competition.­
WHAT: ICORE’s New England Regional Revolver Championship sponsored by Smith & Wesson will host top wheelgun shooters from around the region. Upwards of 50 shooters, including several Masters, the highest skill level in the sport, are expected to attend. This is the fourth of six regional revolver competitions sponsored by firearms maker Smith & Wesson.

Shooters will negotiate nine stages putting more than 12,000 rounds down range as they compete for the regional title in ICORE’s Open, Limited and Retro divisions. Additionally honors will be awarded in the categories of High Lady, Senior, Super Senior and Junior.

The 2010 New England Regional Revolver Championship is expected to draw shooters from throughout Connecticut as well as Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia and Canada. Craig Buckland of Team Smith & Wesson will also be competing and pulling double duty as the match director.

Colorado Range Hosts Regional Revolver Championship

WHAT: ICORE’s Rocky Mountain Regional Revolver Championship sponsored by Smith & Wesson will host top wheelgun shooters from around the region. Upwards of 60 shooters, including several Masters, the highest skill level in the sport, are expected to attend. This is the third of six regional revolver competitions sponsored by firearms maker Smith & Wesson.

Shooters will negotiate eight stages putting an estimated 15,000 rounds down range as they compete for the regional title in ICORE’s Open, Limited and Retro divisions. Additionally honors will be awarded in the categories of High Lady, Senior, Super Senior and Junior.

The 2010 Rocky Mountain Regional Revolver Championship is expected to draw shooters from throughout Colorado as well as the greater Rocky Mountain region.­
