Corbon DPX Ammunition

Take a look at these expanded bullets. These are Corbon DPX 185 grain .45ACP rounds after fired into a steel Pepper Popper target.

The DPX ammo, advertised at 1075 feet per second (fps) comes out of my Commander at about 950 fps and from the 3.3″ barreld XD-S at just under 900 fps. These bullets held together and retained almost all of their weight while expanding to .88 inches. How’s that for performance, even in a short barrel?
