Saturday at NRA

At 11:00..The smallest registration area that was on the far side.

Back to the room to clean up and then off again. What a very busy day. .. But what a great day. In between weaving in and out of the throngs of people, we managed to get lots of video footage of some pretty good stuff.

I never heard how many people were there today, but there were a lot. I don’t know if I am just getting used to the huge crowds that show up for the NRA or if the crowd wasn’t as big as in years past.. but whatever it was, we and the film crew maneuvered around pretty efficiently.

Michael Bane’s book “Trail Safe” was a huge hit. He had people lined up for quite a long time to get a copy and for him to autograph it. ( I have to admit..I slipped in there myself to get a signed copy)

Ted Nugent  made his appearance at the NRA Radio booth. I got a few pictures of him, but I was a ways off as we were talking and filming in another area and I couldn’t get away. As soon as Ted is done, the people he travels with kinda surround him so that he can get out and do his next stationed appt. If not, he would never get anywhere.

Leather work for lever guns

We all know about the big company’s etc.. but it always amazes me at the “little guys” who are out there putting out handcrafted quality work . One of these people is Chance Shelton at Levergun Leatherworks.

He had his leatherwork products at the Grizzly Custom Guns booth. Of course Grizzly has all kinds of neat Lever Guns and Bolt Rifles.
