Loved the first show, very informative. I’m a fan of the scenario shows (not so much ‘Survival’ though). Mike Seeklander is excellent and I like the way he and Janich work together. One rant I have though is that I will NEVER be able to practice the demonstrated techniques on a live fire range. I’ve never seen them for the non-law enforcement or -military community. Heck, most ranges where I live wont even let you draw from a holstered position. So my only option is airsoft. Not a bad option mind you, I just think the preparedness community is sorely lacking these types of range facilities.
Sometimes people like to think of the situation they would be placed in as being very cut and dry justified, they don’t realize that more than likely, if they were to have to use their gun in self defense it is going to be a very subjective and gray situation. Bottom line, have a good lawyer’s number on you, and know what you are going to say to both 911 dispatchers and police. Be short, courteous, but don’t say too much.
