Michael Bane
Sir: I enjoy each and every Shooting Gallery episode, but especially liked the rimfire show that aired 12/28/11 here in Oregon. I am enjoying a return to rimfire shooting (like many others) due to dwindling retirement income, and forgot how much fun it can be!! Your show had lots of interesting and informative content regarding the after market manufacturers as well as the competition segments. Thanks very much and may 2012 bring you happy and safe shooting.
Watched Shooting Gallery last night (12/28/11). Great choice for your first hour long show. If the rest of the season is as good as last nights show then you have a winner!
Michael,
I really like the new 1 hour format for Shooting Gallery. The only disappointment was the description of the 3 different rifle builds was too brief and didn’t provide nearly enough details about the features and why the maker chose them for their specific model. I am looking forward to a great SG season! Keep up the great work, but also take a break every once in a while so you don’t “burn out”.
I always enjoy the Ruger Rimfire show. This year was a nice model following folks through the stages, and brief interviews on the runs. I am a little concerned about the format though… it felt a lot like “Top Gear” … I was waiting for “The Stig” to show up and run a new piece of kit through an appropriate course of fire :>).
Nice show, I am looking forward to the rest of the season.
