Ruger Sponsors Smith & Wesson Live Free Or Die State IDPA Championship

LFOD-Ruger-SponsorshipBERRYVILLE, Ark. – New Hampshire’s own Ruger Firearms continues its support for the shooting sports as a primary sponsor of the 2013 Smith & Wesson Live Free Or Die State IDPA Championship.

Ruger joins iMarksman, RangeLog, SIG SAUER, Taurus and Smith & Wesson, the title sponsor of the match, as one of the main sponsors of the sold out championship event slated to take place October 18-20 at the Pioneer Sportsmen Club in Dunbarton, N.H.

“Ruger is a titan in the gun industry and more importantly a major employer here in New Hampshire. Our friends and neighbors are part of that proud gun making tradition at Ruger and their commitment to supporting our state championship could not mean more to us,” said Ken Lambert, match director.

“Being part of matches, especially in our backyard here in New England, is a way to support the shooting sports, our customers and encourage employees to get involved. Our extensive product line lends itself to many competitive disciplines and competition provides valuable feedback,” said Ken Jorgensen of Ruger.

In addition to determining the New Hampshire state title, the match will also serve as the final leg of the King of New England contest presented by Apex Tactical. The 17th Annual Massachusetts State Championship and the New England Regional, both sponsored by Smith & Wesson, make up the first and second legs, respectively, of the newly announced series.
