Pocket Pistols and Derringers in the Old West

Today, the best selling handguns in the US are pocket pistols, carried in the pocket for self defense. Things haven’t changed – in the wildest days of the American West, the most popular handgun was also the pocket pistol. Many of these pistols are still in use in side matches in Cowboy Action Shooting.
