The bullpup design places the gun’s action behind the trigger, in front of a short buttstock. This decreases the firearm’s length and weight while retaining the same barrel length. Bullpups generally allow for a 25% reduction in weapon length, which allows for better maneuverability in confined spaces.

They may be safe, but I’d rather not have the chamber so close to my neck, carotid artery and eyes. Working at a large LEO firing range for several years with millions of rounds fired, I did see a few rifles with their chambers blown out / ruptured from over loaded rounds and other issues. It may be very rare, but then I’m overly cautious.

Very nice interview! Mr. Trapp seems like a good man!

I have no experience at all with the Tavor and was wondering, with the action so far to the rear, how easy / hard is it to clear malfunctions?
