We see a quicker acceptance cycle towards the .300AAC and a continuous growing interest for suppressors. Then he steps into the minefield and current hot topic of “bloggers vs. established media.”

Bloggers often add a different perspective as they don’t necessarily have to cater to sponsors or manufacturers. I’m not sure I can point to any specific instance where a gun-rag *has* said anything bad about a gun nor recommended that one *not* buy the gun.
I agree that they can get a bit out of hand but I tend to filter out the fluff and bravado to get to the substance, if possible.
