Day Before NRA Convention

Okay, I admit. This blog stuff is really new to me, but I’ll give it my best shot.
I’m not real gun information smart ..as in comparing this gun to that gun.. but I can keep you all abreast of the happenings of this years NRA Convention on most all other levels and what Marshal , Michael and I are doing. It will be scattered, because heck.. I don’t even know what we’re doing half the time..but if you can grab a hold and ride with me by the seat of my britches.. then maybe you’ll be able to follow my ramblings on here for the next few days.

I’ll post pictures on a daily basis.. and I will try to give you all as much scoop and back behind the scenes as I can.

Our flight take off yesterday was “bumpy”. Couldn’t have been those 50 mph winds that we were having in Kansas could it? What?? Kansas… windy? Naaaaaa..

Anyway.. we did land in Phoenix and stepped off the plane into about 104 degree temp.. and managed to make it to the Hyatt via a taxi driver that talked about… what else? “Obama”… !
I thought I was in the cab from Hell, having to listen to that drivel about how Obama is in town and how they were making things all “special” for Obama.. blah blah blah.. I tried to change the subject and I ask him what kind of red flowering bushes those were growing along side the road. He said they were Obama Bushes.. Yeahhhhh whatever… I ask no more questions.

Today was spent at the Shooting Range playing with Ruger’s new “secret” gun.. OMG!! Wow… is all I can say.

Then tonight we went to Todd and Lisa Merkow’s home where they cooked the greatest array homemade Mexican cuisine for everyone. It was so fun and their home is beautiful.

Just got back and Marshal , Michael and Jim Zumbo were last seen heading to the bar.. I kissed them all goodnight …bid them farewell till morning and veered off to the 16th floor…where I am ready to call it a night. Will catch you all tomorrow ..
