Apex Donates $75,000 To C.O.P.S.

PEORIA, Ariz., – Apex Tactical Specialties is proud to announce that in the first year since introduction of the Thin Blue Line Series of triggers Apex has donated $75,000 to Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.).

Apex raised the funds through the sale of the Thin Blue Line Series of triggers which were introduced on October 31, 2016. Thin Blue Line versions of popular Apex triggers include those for the Smith & Wesson M&P, M&P Shield, Glock and Walther PPQ pistols, with additional models scheduled for release later this year. The company dedicates 25% of each sale to Concerns of Police Survivors , a national law enforcement support organization.

“Thanks to the continued support from our customers for our Thin Blue Line Series, Apex is very pleased to announce that our contribution to Concerns of Police Survivors has now reached $75,000,” said Scott Folk, COO of Apex.

C.O.P.S., a nationally recognized and highly respected law enforcement support organization, offers programs for survivors, including the National Police Survivors’ Conference, which is held each May during National Police Week. C.O.P.S. also offers scholarships and peer-support at the national, state, and local levels; the “C.O.P.S. Kids” counseling reimbursement program; and the “C.O.P.S. Kids” Summer Camp. “C.O.P.S. Teens” offers an Outward Bound experience for young adults. C.O.P.S. also sponsors special retreats for spouses, parents, siblings, adult children, extended family, fiancés/significant others and co-workers. Trial and parole support, as well as other assistance programs, are also available.
