The Best Defense – Season 2v

The first season of The Best Defense on Outdoor Channel established a new standard for shows about self defense when it premiered in January 2009. Avoidance, knowledge, awareness and preparedness are still the key elements in this new season starting on December 30, 2009 at 1:30PM.

Michael Bane, Rob Pincus and Michael Janich are back with 13 new episodes where they go through different scenarios we might or hope we won’t experience.

Episode 1 is called “Who’s At The Door?”
It happens every day.  You’re at home watching television, cleaning up or just reading a book. There’s a knock at your door.  It would seem the most logical thing to do would be to just open the door. Unfortunately, that may be the biggest mistake of your life.

Once again, this season of The Best Defense begins at home by teaching you how to deal with a home invasion when you are caught away from your safe room or don’t have one. More importantly, we’ll show you how to put that knowledge into practice by teaching you “training in context”—secrets of replicating the situations you fear most through practical drills at the range.
