\"\"<\/a>LOS OSOS, Calif. – Brownells, the world’s largest supplier of firearm parts, gunsmithing tools, equipment and accessories, has joined Smith & Wesson and Hogue Inc. as a premier sponsor of the International Confederation of Revolver Enthusiasts’ (ICORE) Annual Smith & Wesson International Revolver Championship.<\/p>\n

First held in 1992 with just 51 shooters in attendance, the Smith & Wesson International Revolver Championship celebrates two decades of top level revolver competition this year. Over 200 of the best wheelgun shooters are expected to compete.<\/p>\n

“This year marks a major milestone for ICORE and we could not have made it to this point without the generous support of sponsors like Brownells,” said Ron Joslin of ICORE.<\/p>\n

“Brownells, and the Brownell family, have always supported the shooting sports, both through sponsorships like this one, and as industry leaders working to expand shooting opportunities throughout the country. \"\"<\/a>The 20th Annual Smith & Wesson International Revolver Championship take place June 2-5 and are hosted by the San Luis Obispo Sportsmen’s Association. The match will take place on the association’s Hogue Action Pistol Range, named after the family-owned company located in nearby Paso Robles, Calif.<\/p>\n

“We’re absolutely delighted to be able to help with this premier event again this year,” said Frank Brownell, CEO of Brownells, “with partners like ICORE and Smith & Wesson, plus a whole darn lot of great shooters, it’s bound to be one heck of a good match.”<\/p>\n

The 20th Annual Smith & Wesson International Revolver Championship is filling quickly but slots are still available. Those interested in competing in the match should submit their match application<\/a> as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
