Match officials expect upwards of 380 competitors to participate in the match.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are extremely pleased with continued support the Area 6 Championship continues to receive from the firearms industry,\u201d said Linda Chico, the USPSA Area 6 director. \u201cThe popularity of the Area 6 match is due in no small part to its popularity with gun and accessory manufacturers whose support is based on the realization that USPSA members represent upwards of $45 million in potential sales.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Besides Springfield Armory, Competitive Edge Dynamics and EarScopes, Velocity Shooter is also helping to sponsor the match. Previously announced sponsors include Glock, GPI Custom Gunworks, Otis Technology, Rescomp\/CR Speed\u00a0 and TechWear USA.
