We experience a consistent growth for the Ruger Rimfire Challenge. I think the growth is now limited to the availability of trail blazers, organizers and places to shoot. The shooters or wannabe shooters of all ages are just waiting for the opportunity.<\/p>\n
I opened my mouth a little too much some months ago about trying to establish these type of matches at the US Shooting Academy<\/a> in Tulsa and I keep getting questions about that almost daily. Last news on that is that I don’t have any. With the US Shooting Academy pending in terms of new owners, there is not much room for planning as of now. I will follow up on it as soon as there is an opening for talks. Personally, I think this facility is a perfect place for a RRC match.<\/p>\n In the mean time, let’s celebrate the fact that there are matches scheduled throughout the nation. I got words today from Tim Ubl that the Minnesota State Championship<\/a> is already sold out! Another interesting information from Minnesota is that around half of of the entries are new shooters!<\/p>\n This year’s World Championship will be held at the home of the Single Action Shooting Society’s Founders Ranch<\/a> in New Mexico.
