Available for $129.95 from ApexTactical.com, 25% from each sale will be donated to Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.).<\/p>\n Each year, between 140 and 160 officers die in the line of duty, and their families and co-workers are left to cope with the tragic loss. Organized in 1984, C.O.P.S. is a nationally recognized and highly respected law enforcement support organization that offers programs for survivors, including the National Police Survivors’ Conference, which is held each May during National Police Week.<\/p>\n C.O.P.S. also offers scholarships, peer-support at the national, state, and local levels; the “C.O.P.S. Kids” counseling reimbursement program; and the “C.O.P.S. Kids” Summer Camp. “C.O.P.S. Teens\u201d offers an Outward Bound experience for young adults. C.O.P.S. also sponsors special retreats for spouses, parents, siblings, adult children, extended family, fianc\u00e9s\/significant others, and co-workers. Trial and parole support, as well as other assistance programs, are also available.<\/p>\n To date, Apex has raised $15,000 for C.O.P.S. through the sale of the Thin Blue Line Series, which was introduced on October 31, 2016. Since then the Thin Blue Line Series has proven to be very popular with Apex customers. \nConcerns of Police Survivors is a nationwide not-for-profit organization with 52 Chapters across the country.
