The trigger body features a center-mounted pivoting safety which maintains factory safety values.<\/p>\n<p>The Apex Duty\/Carry Kit for the Shield 45 consists of an Apex Fully Machined Sear, Sear Spring, Trigger Return Spring and Striker Block Spring to provide a smooth uptake and reset while producing a trigger pull in the range of 5.0 to 5.5 lbs.<\/p>\n<p>The new Apex Action Enhancement Trigger, part #100-160, and Apex Duty\/Carry Kit, part #100-166, can be installed independently or combined (Apex Action Enhancement Trigger &amp; Duty\/Carry Kit, part #100-161) for the optimum performance upgrade.
