On April first Smith & Wesson announced they were accepting applications<\/a> from shooters to join Team Smith & Wesson, the largest of the factory supported shooting teams. Today, word comes down through the infamous grapevine that the 158-year-old firearms icon has sent out acceptance letters to the applicants.<\/p>\n

Just like with college, pray for a fat envelope when you open the mailbox. Expect an official announcement at the end of May once all the shooters have been contacted and responded. In case you’re interested the current team is listed below and features 16 first rate shooters that have been representing the company this year – along with Doug Koenig, Jerry Miculek and team captain Julie Golob.<\/p>\n
