WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (June 18, 2014) \u2013 Colt\u2019s Manufacturing Company, one of the world\u2019s leading designers, developers and manufacturers of firearms, is offering a new promotion for customers who purchase a Colt rifle this summer. During the \u201cSmokin\u2019 Hot Summer\u201d promotion, anyone who purchases a Colt modern sporting rifle will receive a free Carhartt\u00ae jacket. The promotion is valid June 15 \u2013 August 31, 2014.<\/p>\n
The jacket is Carhartt\u2019s black Duck Detroit Jacket<\/a>, model J001, with the Rampant Colt\u00ae logo embroidered above the left chest pocket. It is made in the USA and constructed of rugged 12-ounce, 100-percent ring-spun cotton duck. The body of the jacket features a blanket lining, while the lining in the sleeves is quilted nylon. There is a corduroy top collar with under-collar snaps made to attach an optional hood. Inside there is a welt pocket and outside there are two large front pockets, as well as a zippered left-chest pocket.
