This new organization will be headquartered in McLean, VA.\u00a0 FN America\u2019s production facilities will remain in South Carolina.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe consolidation of FN Manufacturing and FNH USA creates an exciting opportunity for efficiency, growth and profitability,\u201d said Mark Cherpes, President and CEO of FNH USA.\u00a0 \u201cThis merger will ensure a stronger, more agile organization that is better poised to meet current and future U.S. market challenges.\u201d<\/p>\n
FN America will be led by President and CEO Mark Cherpes, and will generate multiple benefits for distributors, dealers and consumers, including streamlined development and production of existing and new products and services.\u00a0 The merger will also enable the company to better manage the complete product and customer care lifecycles for its military, law enforcement and commercial business lines.<\/p>\n
Activities are currently underway to consolidate the management teams of FN Manufacturing and FNH USA into one, integrated organization headed by Mark Cherpes.\u00a0 Jean-Louis Vanderstraeten is retiring as president & CEO of FN Manufacturing, LLC and moving to a new role as advisor to the FNA America chairman of the board.\u00a0 Additional steps to complete the legal merger are anticipated to be concluded in the coming months.<\/p>\n
FN America, LLC will unite the sales and marketing efforts of FNH USA, established in 1998 in McLean, VA, with the precision manufacturing capabilities of the Columbia, SC-based FN Manufacturing, a global leader in the development and manufacturing of high-quality, reliable firearms for the military, law enforcement and commercial markets, including the M240, M249, M4 and M16 rifles, the FNP\u2122, FNX and FNS\u2122 pistol lines, and the FN 15\u2122 series of modern sporting rifles.<\/p>\n
