While Sig and S&amp;W are rumored to be looking at Abbate, no announcement was made at the USPSA Area 6 match.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Abbate, who competed in the Open division, is not without corporate support. Her shirt sports one firearms industry name that adorns many of the top shooters&#8217; logo laden shirts; Atlanta Arms &amp; Ammo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">It will be fun to watch who snaps up Abbate, but even more fun watching who passes, or shows up a day late and a dollar short. If I were at Smith, Springfield or Sig, or even FNH, I&#8217;d be all over this opportunity to put my company&#8217;s product so consistently in the winner&#8217;s circle of competition shooting.
