\"SWIN14-Comp-Tac-Sponsor\"<\/a>BERRYVILLE, Ark. \u2013 The International Defensive Pistol Assn. (IDPA<\/a>) announced that the Houston-based holster maker Comp-Tac Victory Gear<\/a> will be one of the major sponsors of the upcoming Smith & Wesson IDPA Indoor National Championship.<\/p>\n

Now in its 17th year, the 2014 Smith & Wesson IDPA Indoor Nationals sold out in record time. The match is scheduled to take place February 20-22 on the indoor ranges of the Smith & Wesson Shooting Sports Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.<\/p>\n

\u201cComp-Tac\u2019s commitment to supporting IDPA all around the country has not only helped us reach a record number of clubs and members, but it has made them the most popular brand of holster used by our national level competitors,\u201d said said Joyce Wilson, executive director of IDPA.<\/p>\n

Comp-Tac Victory Gear joins Apex Tactical Specialties, Colt, CORBON, the National Shooting Sports Foundation, Nighthawk Custom, Panteao Productions, Rand Brands and Smith & Wesson, the title sponsor, in supporting the match. As part of their support, Comp-Tac will sponsor one of the 14 stages in the course of fire.<\/p>\n

The Smith & Wesson IDPA Indoor National Championship represents the official start of IDPA\u2019s competition season and is regarded as one of the finest competitive shooting matches in the country, thanks to broad industry support from companies like Comp-Tac.<\/p>\n

More than 300 of the sport\u2019s best shooters are expected to compete for titles in Custom Defensive Pistol, Enhanced Service Pistol, Stock Service Pistol, Stock Service Revolver and Enhanced Service Revolver, the five divisions within IDPA.<\/p>\n
