Guys I respect told me about wicked small groups with the 9mm Taurus&#8230;so hey, who knows?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-27061\" alt=\"TaurusView\" src=\"https:\/\/www.downrange.tv\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/TaurusView.jpg\" width=\"478\" height=\"270\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.downrange.tv\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/TaurusView.jpg 478w, https:\/\/www.downrange.tv\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/TaurusView-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 478px) 100vw, 478px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I actually handled a proto of the Taurus View, as per the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thetruthaboutguns.com\/2013\/12\/chris-dumm\/taurus-new-view-100-whoopi-free\/#more-283699\" target=\"_blank\">Truth About Guns<\/a> snark, months ago. Forget the Lexan side panels. I&#8217;d have fully transparent plastic semitautos&#8230;okay, maybe a fetching bright green&#8230;if I could. The interesting thing about the Taurus View is the minimalist grip frame, 1-inch barrel, and 9-ounce weight. Nine ounces!!! That&#8217;s an ounce less than an S&amp;W .22 317 Airweight&#8230;down in mini .380 territory. I wasn&#8217;t able to shoot the little gun, but I was surprised that it sat pretty comfortably in my hand.
