{"id":2448,"date":"2010-03-17T09:10:37","date_gmt":"2010-03-17T14:10:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.downrange.tv\/blog\/?p=2448"},"modified":"2010-03-17T11:17:44","modified_gmt":"2010-03-17T16:17:44","slug":"thibodaux-range-hosts-icore-regional-championship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.downrange.tv\/blog\/thibodaux-range-hosts-icore-regional-championship\/2448\/","title":{"rendered":"Thibodaux Range Hosts ICORE Regional Championship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2381\" title=\"ICORElogo\" src=\"https:\/\/www.downrange.tv\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ICORElogo.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"206\" height=\"219\" \/>WHO:<\/strong><br \/>\nInternational Confederation of Revolver Enthusiasts (<a title=\"ICORE\" href=\"http:\/\/www.icore.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">ICORE<\/a>) \u2013 an organization dedicated to promoting international revolver competition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHAT:<\/strong><br \/>\nICORE\u2019s 2010 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lagator.org\/SRRC.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Southern Regional Revolver Championship<\/a> sponsored by <a title=\"Smith &amp; Wesson\" href=\"http:\/\/www.smith-wesson.com\/webapp\/wcs\/stores\/servlet\/CustomContentDisplay?langId=-1&amp;storeId=10001&amp;catalogId=10001&amp;content=11001\" target=\"_blank\">Smith &amp; Wesson<\/a> will host top wheelgun shooters from around the region and across the country. Upwards of 50 shooters, including several Masters, the highest skill level in the sport, are expected to attend. This is the first of six regional revolver competitions sponsored by firearms maker Smith &amp; Wesson.<\/p>\n<p>Shooters will negotiate 10 stages putting an estimated 14,000 rounds down range as they compete for the regional title in ICORE\u2019s Open, Limited and Retro divisions. Additionally honors will be awarded in the categories of High Lady, Senior, Super Senior and Junior.<\/p>\n<p>The 2010 Southern Regional Revolver Championship is expected to draw shooters from throughout Louisiana as well as Arkansas, California, Michigan, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and Canada.
