\"massachusetts_IDPA\"<\/a>BERRYVILLE, Ark. \u2013 The Springfield, Massachusetts based firearms maker Smith & Wesson<\/a> will be the presenting sponsor of the 17th Annual Massachusetts State IDPA<\/a> Championship, according to an announcement by the match organizers.<\/p>\n

The 17th Annual Massachusetts State IDPA Championship, presented by Smith & Wesson, will take place June 1-2 at the Rod & Gun Club of New Bedford<\/a> in North Dartmouth. The match will feature a 10 stage course of fire with a 150 round count. It will also serve as the first leg of the newly announced King of New England<\/a> contest.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe name Smith & Wesson is near and dear to members of the Bay State shooting community. Throughout the years this American gun making icon has extended a helping hand to shooting clubs and matches, and we couldn\u2019t be prouder to announce that our 17th Annual IDPA State Championship will bear the name Smith & Wesson,\u201d said John Catterall.<\/p>\n
