Veilleux brings a broad and extensive knowledge of firearms manufacturing and a proven record of success at Colt.\u00a0 Veilleux succeeds retired Lt. Gen. William M. Keys, USMC, who will continue to provide Colt the benefit of his wealth of experience and sound business judgment as President and Chief Executive Officer Emeritus and as a member of the Board.<\/p>\n

General Keys\u2019 leadership throughout his tenure is credited with returning Colt\u2019s Manufacturing Company to prominence as the worldwide leader in small arms manufacturing. His commitment to quality and excellence is well known throughout the industry.\u00a0 With the introduction of new products, streamlined manufacturing processes and a keen awareness of demanding needs of the customer base, General Keys has positioned Colt\u2019s Manufacturing for continued growth and success.<\/p>\n

Veilleux joined Colt in 2006 as the Executive Director of Engineering, and his talents and contributions to the company were immediately realized.\u00a0 He was soon promoted to Vice President of Manufacturing at Colt Defense and quickly thereafter named as the Chief Operating Officer for Colt\u2019s Manufacturing.<\/p>\n

Veilleux\u2019s career includes positions with GE Armament, Ruger and FN Group (FNMI, Winchester and Browning).\u00a0 His vast experience and well established reputation within the small arms industry made him the ideal candidate for the position.<\/p>\n
