Keane, NSSF senior vice president and general counsel. &#8220;America&#8217;s firearms industry remains optimistic that the U.S. Supreme Court will rule in the upcoming McDonald v. City of Chicago case that the Second Amendment is a fundamental individual liberty that all states and local governments must respect.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The NSSF filed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nssf.org\/share\/PDF\/08-1521.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">an amicus brief<\/a> in support of the petitioner in McDonald v.
