BERRYVILLE, Ark. \u2013 Lou Denys has been named Match Director of the prestigious 2013 Smith & Wesson IDPA Indoor National Championship according to an announcement made today by officials with the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA<\/a>) and\u00a0Smith & Wesson<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now in its 16th consecutive year, the Smith & Wesson IDPA Indoor National Championship has grown to become one of the premier events in all the shooting sports, making the position of match director one of the most important in competitive pistol shooting.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m honored that IDPA and Smith & Wesson have asked me to oversee what is arguably IDPA\u2019s crown jewel event. This match has a rich and well-deserved reputation for excellence and I am looking forward to working with a great team of safety officers and staff to insure the 2013 Smith & Wesson IDPA Indoor National Championship is the best yet,\u201d said Lou Denys.<\/p>\n

\"Smith<\/a>The Smith & Wesson IDPA Indoor National Championship serves as the official start of the IDPA season. The 2013 match will take place February 21-23 and is expected to draw over 300 of the best IDPA shooters to Springfield, Massachusetts to compete on the indoor ranges of the\u00a0Smith & Wesson Shooting Sports Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n
