There are many images that come to mind when you mention the Cold War. \u00a0Nuclear arms race, The Soviet Union, \u00a0the Berlin Wall\u2026 East and West, divided. For many, it is the image of the AK 47. \u00a0Thousands of Soviet troops, marching in-step with a rifle that literally defined communism on the battlefield. But, if the AK defined communism, then the FN FAL was the definitive symbol of Western freedom, and the soldiers who guarded it. \u00a0 So much so that it was called, and is still remembered as \u201cThe right arm of the free world.\u201d<\/p>\n
