The entry fee is $20 in advance, $25 the day of the match, and all proceeds go to benefit the University of Vermont Shooting Sports Club, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/UVM-Shooting-Sports-Club\/104389999596706\" rel=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">Gun Cats<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The match, which is supported by Glock and Revision Eyewear, will begin at 9:00am and features the same four Steel Challenge stages used in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scholasticsteelchallenge.com\/\" rel=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">Scholastic Steel Challenge<\/a> in which the UVM team competes. Members of the UVM Gun Cats will be on hand to serve as range officers and scorers for each stage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe UVM Gun Cats were one of the first teams to jump into SSC&#8217;s collegiate competition. This weekend&#8217;s fundraiser is a great way to help the shooting sports grow and thrive at the collegiate level, as well as support the Gun Cats,\u201d said Scott Moore, director of the Scholastic Steel Challenge.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday&#8217;s fundraiser is open to anybody that would like to give .22 rimfire pistol competition a try.
