EXETER, N.H. (June 20, 2011) \u2014 Max Michel, Jr., continues his preparation for the International Practical Shooting Confederation\u2019s World Shoot in late September. This week found the Team SIG SAUER\u00ae captain in Rhodes, Greece, where he brought home second place at the Greek Nationals.<\/p>\n
\u201cEuropean matches require a different approach than those in the United States,\u201d Michel said. \u201cThe experience I gained both on and off the course will help me perform better at the World Shoot.\u201d<\/p>\n
In general, European courses of fire are longer and place a greater premium on accuracy, Michel said. \u201cOver the longer stages, the little inefficiencies quickly add up,\u201d he said. \u201cTo score well, you\u2019ve got to be precise in your motions as well as your shooting.\u201d<\/p>\n
Michel finished with a score of 899.9373 or 91.85%. His next match will be the Pro-Am Championship in Frostproof, Fla., July 16-18.<\/p>\n
