Pros:
Very light, small, awesome trigger
Cons:
hard to use speedloaders with the Hogue grip

What an awesome little shooter this gun is. It's very accurate and the sights are easy to acquire quickly, especially the front. The trigger is what sold me on this gun over the Smith's, and the comfort of the Houge grip. It will still wear your hand out if you use it as a range gun, at least until you get used to it. My wife is very comfortable shooting it as well, and it will be her carry gun soon. Like I said I like the grip but it appears to be too thick at the top and prevents speedloaders from fitting all the way (you have to just insert the tips of the bullets then release) which could be bad in a high-stress situation. I'll probably add the CT grip and see if that helps since I hear it's a little thinner.
Overall, both my wife and I love this little gun.

I only had one problem, after about twenty rounds, there appeared a little pit in the underside of the top strap, just above the forcing cone. Ruger requested I send it back promptly, which I am doing. I can't wait to get it back. The recoil was what I expected from a snub, and +Ps were no problem. It isn't an all day shooter, but that's not why I bought it. It is very easy to carry, I forget it's there. Great product, well engineered and manufactured. A sign of things to come.
------------------------------ I must remember, that even though I'm armed, God is still in charge. It is ultimately up to him who's still standing when the smoke clears. But I will still give it one heck of a fight!

I have owned several J-frames and similar sized handguns. Out of all of those, the Ruger LCR is the only one my wife would actually carry. The trigger on the LCR is the only one in my arsenal that does not make my wife's hands shake during the shot.
The only problem I have now is that the Ruger LCR is with my wife 100% of the time.
