This was the first handgun I ever bought, and I absolutely love this gun!
I have been shooting it very regularly for 8 years now and it has never had a failure. It is an excellent firearm and one that I know will go bang each and every time.
I use this gun as my "night stand gun" and I love the fact that I can keep it at the ready with a 33 rd magazine.
I highly recommend joining Team Glock

I am on my second Glock 17. Absolutely love the feel of the Glock compared to other handguns. Fits me well and reflects on my targets downrange.

i was able to purchase my G-17 from a cop shop that offered the LEO price to retired military.
this handgun is very accurate at least in my hand. the grip is large and block like hence the nickname "block". IMHO purely a combat arm in it's first series though many folks use these in matches.
one of my three favorite poly 9mm handguns....
i probably would purchase another simply because they work very well.
