Pros: Quality inside and out, great to shoot, ease to take down
Cons: A bit expensive

Any Sig is a good Sig, the P229 9mm is a great gun, very accurate and simple to clean. I bought mine new from a local dealer and have since bought a few more. You can't go wrong, P220, P226 or P229 they are all great. Fit, Finish and quality of parts is first rate.

Pros:
Cons:

Nothing like a Sig. I have the 229, 250 and the 238 on order. They are not cheap but they are the best gun made. As they say they will last you a lifetime plus 10 years.

Pros: ergonomics, reliability and customer service
Cons: not inexpensive, so save your money and buy one

I own the one before the rail was added, it runs like a Swiss watch. And while allot have caught the polymer bug, the all metal Sigs are still selling well.
