Pros: Incredible product that delivers right out of the box!
Cons: A little on the expensive side.

Out of the box the rifle was spot on at about 150 yards with inexpensive Remington 55 grain ammo. Well fit and finished with a great standard trigger. Mine is the standard M&P 15 with none of the extras no available straight from the factoy!
3,500 rounds and 1 year later I have absolutely no regrets other than not buying it sooner.

Pros: Brand (reputation), factory installed Troy Industries rails and sights, chrome-line barrel
Cons: None

My "review" is not based on comparison to other ARs but simply *what* the rifle is...

I purchased the M&P 15T (S&W SKU #811001) from http://www.budsgunshop.com... no tax for $1269.00. This included fully insured shipping. The FFL transfer was handled for $25.

The T model includes:

* 5.56 NATO or .223 Remington
* Troy Industries 4-sided 10" Free-Float Modular Rail Forend (MRF)
* Troy Industries [front and rear] adjustable folding Battle Sights
* Chromed barrel bore, gas key, bolt carrier
* 1:9 twist
* 6-position telescopic stock
* 6 Magpul PMAGs (came with one, the remaining five were a free offer)

The trigger is smooth yet the pull is a little long for my preference. The included case is pretty basic and good for little more than simply storage.

The fit and finish is fantastic and it fires perfectly - 400 rounds without a single issue.
