Scored a Bren Ten today (thanks for the telecon research Haz....pictures coming after return from my trip south).  Now I am in wait for a Fortis to shoot.  And the Fortis seems to be progressing towards fruition.

Did any of you guys who went to SHOT visit their display?

Rastus,

It is really not easy to make me jealous.  A friend of mine recently bought a DB9... I wasn't as impressed as I am that you bought a Bren.

Thanks...I'd always wanted one, didn't have time to research with work and Haz was gracious enough to pull some research for me.  Afterwards I found out there were only 1,500 produced....the old boy coulda' asked more if I'd known that going in.

I did... but I was in Europe for most of the last month.... no time for follow ups on a really side project, etc... Thanks though!

I'll expect a Range Report at some point! I can recall seeing a pic of someone actually shooting one they owned on the forums!

I really like how VLTOR is being methodical in the recreation of the Bren Ten, shape, style, dimension.  I'm really impressed with their desire for quality; hitting all the right buttons like redesigning the frame, slide stop, etc. without changing "the look" of the Bren Ten.

Not only a scale model of the bomb complete with an authentic looking specification tag...but did you notice the little clear box of rocks?
