Kentucky visit this weekend
« on: August 19, 2018, 09:42:26 PM »
This is my bourbon.  There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Now that the daughter has been shipped off to college, the wife and I took a nice trip to Kentucky this weekend.  Stayed at a B&B, toured some distilleries, took in some history.

Just got home.  Have to go get some groceries.  Will edit photos later.

Nice.  Pretty place.    Good photos with the D7200

Of course I'm still pretty much a Jefferson fan.

Thanks.  I'd like to get a different lens for all-around use.  I've never been crazy about the image at the wide end of my Sigma.  A greater zoom range would be cool, too.

The Maker's 46 was very, very good.

Their marketing, from the very beginning of the company, impresses the Hell out of me.  It should be studied at colleges across the land.

Dude!!! You were literally 10 miles from my house!!

<sigh> you never write, you never call . . . .

Next time, try Town Branch in Lexington, or the small one - Hartfield? - in Paris. Town Branch also makes bourbob barrel ale, BTW.

Don't you mean "Greetings from a fellow member of the "Band of Rebels"?
