Thank you. I'm still quietly hanging around.  Yesterday hit the 3/4 century mark for me.  Beer & wings with the guys tonight.

I’m about an 9/64 of a century younger, BTW!

Happy Birthday Mike. Once we hit the 3/4 mark I'd say it is all down hill from here but that is at 50 so I guess the ride just gets even faster heading for the bottom.   KEN

Well Happy Three Quarters Birthday.

Couple of things older folks have as an advantage over younger ones.

1. is that younger folks are getting older faster than we are...For example   If you are 60 and a young one is 30, you are twice as old as then are.  BUT!!  In 1 year you will be 61 and they will be 31...now you are LESS than twice their age.   

2.  If you check actuaries you will find that you, at 75, are given better odds of reaching 76 than a 25 year old.

What is all really means is that WE have had those years, those experiences, those ups and down, good and bad and all in between...guaranteed and under our belts...while anyone younger might not have as many years to "live".
