The first thing that comes to my mind for 9mm, .35, .40, and .45 auto pistols are:

9mm = 9x19mm aka 9mm Luger.
.35 = ??? Some kind of 9mm?
.40 = .40 S&W.
.45 = .45 ACP.

But they could be 9×25mm Dillon, .356 TSW (which is actually 9mm), .400 Cor-Bon, and .475 Wildey Magnum, or dozens of other possible combinations.

Clip and Magazine are a bit less ambigous...but very imprecise.   Some one has to say it since Haz isn't paying attention.

.35 could refer to .35 S&W Auto which is actually only .309 caliber just like a .32 ACP.

There are so many possibilities you can't expect anyone to know what you're talking about if you just say the bullet diameter, either actual or just what it's named after.

Well I purchased them both. They just felt so nice in the hand and second of all I guess I'll start reloading 45lc.😉
