Red Miso Braised Beef. I don't think I ever had any kind of miso before. I never thought it sounded very good, because it's made of soybeans fermented with mold. But they make soy sauce the same way, so what the heck. I tried it but didn't really care for it. I didn't hate it either, but will probably not buy any more of it. https://www.simpletruth.com/products/red-miso-braised-beef/

Having turkey sammich with pepper jack and provolone cheeses for lunch.
A little later me and another fellow will be grilling a dozen or so whole pork loins for a church supper.

Nothing new to report about food, but I'm getting ready to have my second cup of hot sassafras tea with one sugar cube.

We had to run to town for an errand, so we grabbed a chili-dog and a small order of fries.

Some of the leftover pork loin I mentioned above.........

And, for dessert: A slice of the wife's old fashioned homemade pound-cake topped with diced strawberries (along with the requisite sugary juice from chillin' in the fridge) and whipped cream.

Yep....THAT's what I'm having.  8)  8)  8)  8)  8)

That sounds good Peg. I'm getting ready to eat some DiGiorno pizza buns. It's something new I got today.

Soft Tacos tonight.  Wife used steak strips instead of ground meat.

BBQ Smoked Stacker sandwich from Honeybaked Ham. I have a Roast Beef & Cheddar sandwich on a croissant too. I bought one and got the other one free. I went over 3 1/2 hours on nothing but a Hershey's Gold (Peanuts & Pretzels in Caramelized Creme) candy bar. I'm glad I got it free because I didn't like it.
