Ham, black-eyed peas, tater salad, greens, rice, and cornbread.

Pork carnitas sandwiches with peri-peri hot sauce. Jalapeno flavor potato chips. Cottage cheese. The hot sauce was made with African bird's eye (piri piri) chili peppers among other things, but not very hot. It's a good thing it's not hot since it pours out of the bottle so easily.

2 frittata paniers for lunch. The crust was more like pie crust than the puff pastry they should have.

https://www.theimpulsivebuy.com/wordpress/2018/09/20/spotted-on-shelves-9-20-2018/kroger-private-selection-frittata-paniers-jpg/

Breakfast was 2 smoked turkey salad sandwiches with Swiss cheese, lettuce and tomato on multigrain bread.

As I was walking away from the TV a few hours ago I heard part of a Wendy's commercial. It sounded like they said they came out with a giant version of their junior bacon cheeseburger. Wouldn't a "giant" "junior" cheeseburger just be a regular cheeseburger?

Bob Evans Creamy Chicken & Noodles from the grocery store.

I had to buy coffee today because it was the last day of the 2 day sale. I bought some other stuff too and my total was $86.00. An even number again, but only because I made a mistake and bought one of something I needed to buy 2 of to get $1.00 off.

Cinnamon raisin toast.

It's a good thing I bought 2 loaves because it will take at least half a loaf to get the new toaster dialed in. The knob has 36 clicks above 0. I had it too high once and too low once, so I turned it up to 11 like Spinal Tap. Believe it or not that should be just right.

Honey smoked turkey breast on 100% whole wheat with whole grain garlic mustard. I had to try it, but now I know that I like ground mustard better. I have enough bread for a second sandwich and will have one with mayo, no mustard.

The bread I used to make my sandwiches was these Kroger Sandwich Slims. They're very thin, pre-sliced, and just the right size and shape for the Oscar Meyer deli style turkey. I only bought whole wheat because they were out of the white ones.
