It’s a therapeutic pillow that got bashed about in the truck with a new whetstone I bought.  Both items were fine..

Wow. I thought it would be something with a bunch of small parts missing.

I'm getting used to Informed Delivery from the post office, but they only let me know when I'm getting letters and cards delivered. And packages. I get emails with pictures of the letters and cards, but never know if there are any magazines, catalogs, ads or coupons. I still have to look in my box on days I don't get an email from them.

I'm having problems with the postal service again. I'm waiting on a small package that was shipped by UPS to a post office for the rest of the trip. It left Ohio around noon Thursday. I don't know why it wasn't here Saturday or today if it didn't make it Friday. Also, I didn't get an Informed Delivery email from the post office today. I checked online and they said I wasn't getting any mail or packages today. I knew I'd better check anyway, because, well, it is the post office we're talking about. It was no surprise I had a magazine and my weekly bunch of ads in my box. The ads have about 10 pages of flyers in a paper folded in half, a little bigger than a magazine. I believe it's 1/2 newspaper size but don't have one to compare it too. Those ads never scan, and neither do magazines or catalogs. But I had another 5 pieces of mail that should have been scanned, and pictures of each one emailed to me, and also posted to my online account. I checked online again and it still said I was getting zero mail today even after I brought all 7 things in. None of it was mail they said I was supposed to get on an earlier date either. It was all new.

I finally got my package around noon today. It took five days to get here, and Google Maps shows it as only being a 4 hour drive, including the road construction they're having around that city in Ohio. Maybe when Informed Delivery said I'm not getting any packages today, it didn't count what fits in my mailbox.

That's a long time to wait for a sandwich. Better call Jimmy John's next time.  ::)

Today I got 7 pieces of mail that the post office showed pictures of, after a couple of days without any mail. There was one in there I could do without. I got a letter from the clerk of a U.S. district court somewhere in Detroit, jury department>:(  *&^%$#@! I didn't open it yet but I can see my participant # above my name. I hate Detroit and Detroit traffic. I hope I don't get picked. Maybe they already picked me. I just can't open it yet. If I have to serve as a juror, I'll have to drive somewhere around 3 hours every day until the trial is over. !@#$%^&*! I don't ever want to go to Detroit for any reason. Especially not jury duty. I'd rather put myself in the hospital for a week. Emergency room here I come...maybe. ARGGGHHH.
