B O Y C O T T - T H E - N F L - & - E S P N

Many of the Ravens and Jaguar players knelt for our national anthem but stood for the Brit's national anthem.  Disrespect of their our nation on foreign soil.  For the ones who knelt, I hope they don't come back....let them fully enjoy the socialist paradise of Europe.

If the NFL, their players, major sports networks and ESPN feel the need to politicize the sports field then off they go.  I don't need them.

Talk about killing the goose that lays the golden egg.

In fact, no one needs them for anything except to be entertained.  It's not like they produce food, water, electricity or provided housing and medical care for us....things we really need.

What have I lost?  Not a thing.

Good Riddance! ! ! ! ! !

Note: Your satellite or cable receiver tracks your viewing and reports back.  Turn on something else today or better yet....turn it off!
Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom.
It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.

Sadly, there is a large percentage of our populace that think these jerkoffs matter!

I've never been one of them...

I watch one or two Lions games yearly, sometimes.  I don't receive ESPN or any sports channels anymore and don't miss them.

It's the other half of the plan..alongside Welfare

I was done with the NFL years ago.....bunch of overpaid whiners.

I put much of this idiocy on the backs of the team owners. These players are "hired hands" (over paid to be sure) and under contract as employees of the organization. If the owners had spines, they cold put a stop to this childish lunacy, as in: You don't show respect to the Anthem (also painting a negative image to the team organization), then how 'bout a $50k fine per instance. Now let us see if you're doing this for show or for earnest reasons.

I remember years ago when I went on salary with company I worked for (a division of ALCOA) and as a condition of my employment there was a clause that stated I could be fired for doing any act deemed to paint the company in a negative light in the community.

For my own peace of mind, I don't watch garbage.

That's what ESPN has become.

And watching a bunch of whiny millionaires disrespect the flag I fought for is simply out of the question.

A division of ALCOA?

Yep. Soft Alloy Extrusions. There were several plants in our business unit. Our two particular plants, Tifton Aluminum Co in Tifton, GA and Delhi, LA ran a lot of raw sections for Pella Windows in Iowa. We also ran parts for Black & Decker and Stanley. We did have one gubmint contract for a while and ran the tips for the M430 40mm grenade.

A few years after I left the company, Alcoa sold off all their soft alloy units and primarily stuck with hard alloys like in the aircraft production arena.
Earlier this year, Alcoa split into two separate global business units, one remaining under the Alcoa banner and the other called Arconic.

I also no longer watch the NFL. I can't understand why ANY of the owners are allowing this to happen let along supporting it. That makes NO SENSE to me at all. Are they somehow going to be relying on people that don't buy and can't afford tickets to support the teams? Are they going to rely on income from TV deals to pay their players and bills? Their ticket sales has to go down. They have alienated most of the people that can afford their outrageous tickets. (Except for the small group of elite left-leaning celebrities and politicians)

Like Micheal Bane says all the time, "Tic-toc-tic-toc". The time is coming!
The time for action is upon us and the enemy is at our gates. Let us not allow them one more inch of advancement but instead throw them through the gates of Hell.

Not to say that the NFL should not be boycotted, but here is the kind of courage that comes from one who does stand for the National Anthem .

Football fans across America were clamoring for the jersey of Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Alejandro Villanueva on Monday, a day after the former Army Ranger broke team orders by being the only player to come out of the locker room for the national anthem.

Ask me if the stood or kneeled last night.  Go ahead, ask me.

(Note I am being sarcastic here so expect a smart assed response.)
