Hello! Is anyone home?
« on: June 29, 2016, 07:45:55 PM »
Just had a brief conversations with my neighbor..  I knew he was a leftie but now I'm convinced he's just stupid...

He's absolutely certain that Ronald Regan instituted the 1994 Assault Weapons ban...  Even after I mentioned that Regan left office in January of 1989 when George took office and lost to Clinton in 1992 he was unfazed..

Ya think?

The Clinton assault weapons ban was instituted by Reagan. Makes perfect sense. Not.
People that stupid shouldn't be allowed to vote.
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. No, and the war of northern aggression was not broached either!

We agreed to not discuss anything in the future...

I ain't got words for this.

And that's sayin' somthing.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

Have had fun mis-interpreting your posts.

My first thought was that your neighbor was left handed.  ;)  Now I'm wondering what will you discuss if you don't discuss future things? ;)     Yes, my mind has been in a rut thinking about sentence constructs lately.

My middle son has quite a tale to tell about a "home boy".   Here's the link to part one.  Warning Language content.

I can't get Part 2 off of FB, so until I do here is the FB link.

I think your son is a lot like me...  Or you...  So we're related somehow, maybe our high cheekbones tell the tale!  My gramma was born in da Canadaa, ya know!

Either that or the honey guy spent time on Earth's opposite planet Gor!  ;)
