S&W 4006.....
« on: January 31, 2016, 05:07:37 PM »
I've got a chance to get one for a reasonably good deal.  FTF so no paperwork. Used not abused. $400.  2 mags.  Extra mags are fairly reasonable too.  Ammunition costs are not too bad either.  Talk me down fellas!

My SIL had the 5906.  Essentially the same gun in 9mm.  He didn't keep it long!  Never shot it myself....

I talked to him and he said he sold it because a friend wanted it, said he had no issues with it.

Never handled one, but everything I've read about the 4006 is good news, except a tad heavy.
I got the blues as my companion.

Thrid gen smiths are good guns.  Just heavy.
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.
