Who Do You Side With - Political Poll
« on: September 13, 2014, 01:00:38 PM »
Took a political poll online.  It provides several answers and allows  you to enter your own policy if needed.  At the end it shows how well you agree with 6 political parties.

My results were

Libertarians            81%
Republicans            79%
Constitution Party    76%
Conservative Party  74%
Green Party             20%
Democrats               18%

You can find the poll here if interested:

"Good intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority. It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters."

I took this quiz before and the results were different. I guess it depends on what kind of mood I'm in, and there are some things I have mixed feelings about.
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. Letter to Alexander Hamilton, Friday, May 02, 1783

Correct.  And if you click the Other Choice, I think it was called, often, you are asked if you always what all the choices presented.  Most often I found something better for me in the other choices and several times I "rolled my own".  Not sure how they scored those...perhaps parsing the text for key words they identify with the different parties.
