Been saying this needs to  happen for a long time.

Level the field, so to speak.

Have owners be responsible for the safety of those on their premise if they have denied them the ability to go armed to protect themselves.

They can be sued if they don't ban guns and someone is killed/injured, so let it go the other way to. 

In Ohio, a business can post or not post and the law specifies that they cannot be sued for that decision either way.

Don't know if it has been tested in court and don't know if it would survive a challenge.
