Gun Stories Interviews
« on: August 06, 2014, 07:05:14 PM »
I really enjoy the "Gun Stories" interviews with Mr. Trapp that  you've been posting on line.  Are these going to continue?

I'm sure there's a lot of the interviews that don't make the show.  Any chance of them making it on line too?

Keep up the great work!

+1 to that idea! I can't imagine the people interviewed for the show as being the "strong, silent type" when it comes to talking about guns. :D
I can't understand people who think banning guns makes them safer. They must also believe that banning books makes them smarter.

We leave so much on the floor it's a crime!

I think I wrote 25 separate pieces for Joe on the Roosevelt episode...there was just massive amounts of material and interviews. We're so under the gun, so to speak, on manpower and budget that we don't have any mechanism to capture all that stuff in a coherent form.

it's frustrating...

How do you condense an interesting week into less than an hour of video ?

BTB:  Catching up on Gun Stories and American Rifleman, I thought, you know AR's "This Old Gun" is really a condensed version of GS.  And that's fine and all, but what I find interesting is that Keefe is willing to be part of GS even though it "competes" (sort of) with his own show.

Do the two shows do any sharing of ideas or footage?

Tell us good things about Mark.   Don't know much else expect his TV persona.

We (I) appreciate what you do for us anyway Michael.

You are a lucky man -  you get to interview and work with iconic people of "our" world!
